"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:37-38).
In his classic work from the 4th century, St. Augustine makes the point that, "the love of God for His own sake and the love of neighbor for God's sake is the fulfillment and end of all Scripture" (cf. On Christian Doctrine Book I, Chapter 22).
The purpose of Jonah Media is to draw the reader to open the Bible and immerse themselves in the Sacred Page by treating focused theological content explicitly revealed by Scripture. Scripture is the word of God, love of neighbor is the second greatest commandment...in this way Jonah Media follows our Lord's great commission from Matthew 28:19-20 and do our best to evangelize the Word of God to help others hear Him calling them to immerse themselves in the Bible.
