Jonge Strijkers & Blazers Nederland

The goal of Jonge Strijkers & Blazers (JSBN) is twofold. On the one hand, it aims at the development of the orchestra members, with considerable potential for growth in their musical development. JSBN provides children with the opportunity to play together and they are regularly coached by professional musicians to address specific points of attention. At the end of the season, it is expected that the orchestra members will have gained more experience in playing together and performing on stage, improved social skills, and a broader repertoire. Stimulating enjoyment in making music and improving technical skills on string or wind instruments are important aspects. On the other hand, JSBN aims to excite new young audiences about music. Through inspiring performances, JSBN hopes to contribute to making (classical) music more popular among young people.
