Bullying has been proven to stopped in so many ways yet the students that need the advice often don’t seek it out. How, then do you give them life charging advice without conducting a school survey, singling out individuals, or waiting for something ‘bad’ to happen before anything gets done? A school presentation. A school presentations is the fastest way to get every student on the same page. Often just awareness & understanding around the subject of bullying & its effects can change students ideas by itself. Research has shown that the number one way to decrease bullying in schools is to create culture change; when the larger group discourages the act all together. No.2 is helping the individual student with piratical strategies and role playing to show how to not react but respond to a bully without offense. No.3 is talking to bullies themselves; the consciences, the short and long term outcomes of their actions.
