Journal of AI is open to papers on various Artificial Intelligence (AI) topics. Journal of AI assigns DOI numbers to published articles. It invites submissions that contribute to the advancement of AI, encompassing a wide range of areas such as cognition and AI, automated reasoning and inference, case-based reasoning, commonsense reasoning, computer vision, constraint processing, ethical AI, heuristic search, human interfaces, intelligent robotics, knowledge representation, machine learning, multi-agent systems, natural language processing, planning and action, and reasoning under uncertainty. The journal seeks to publish research findings and innovative approaches to AI problems, emphasising their practical value and effectiveness. Journal of AI also accepts papers that discuss the applications of AI. However, the emphasis should be on how these applications leverage new and innovative AI methods to improve performance, rather than simply presenting another application of conventional AI techniques. Papers on applications should provide a principled solution, highlight its novelty, and include a thorough evaluation of the AI techniques utilized.
