In October 2012, when I was expecting my first child, I was looking for clothes, accessories and bedding for my baby when I realized it was not easy to find products made with organic Peruvian Pima cotton (in my opinion one of the best) in the US.
Also I wanted to have the ability to choose and combine different prints and colors for the nursery room and the baby accessories, but no product on the market satisfied my needs 100%. That was when I identified an interesting niche on the market and decided to create my own line .
I worked for 7 months on the business plan, brand building, market research and sourcing raw materials. Unfortunately the difficulty issues involving the scale of the project and the necessity of travel combined with the birth of my son in May 2013 forced me to put the project on hold.
