The vision for Yoga Stohr started over my 11 years of taking yoga classes and engaging in conversations with people all over the world. Over and over again I heard curious individuals speak to me about how they loved the idea of yoga but felt intimidated by either the studio space, the poses and/or the advanced yogis taking the classes. The other common theme was the misconception that one needs to be flexible to enjoy the practice, something that is entirely not true. We are building Yoga Stohr to become a collective of teachers that want to break the bounds of teaching strictly within a studio space and have the creative desire to build intentional sequences unique to them and their style. We love the community that has come from all of our events and understand the demands of the modern world can often distract us from our inner selves. Our classes are thoughtfully designed to provide a space for you to disconnect from the chaos of the outside world and immerse yourself in a profound mind-body connection. Through the fusion of carefully curated lighting, soul-stirring music, and unique yoga flows suitable for all levels of practitioners, we create an environment that encourages growth, self-discovery and community on and off of the mat. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, we strive to offer an inclusive and nurturing space where you can explore the depths of your practice. Our classes are crafted to guide you through a journey of self-awareness and both physical and mental strength, leaving you rejuvenated and aligned in both body and mind.
