Since Blaine Johnson and Karen Pearson founded JP Interiors in 1991, the design firm has composed comfortable, elevated spaces in some of the most beautiful homes in Chicago and beyond. What began as two friends sharing their discerning taste and love of beautiful interiors and antiques has grown to the capacity to manage large scale projects. To date, JP Interiors has worked in fifteen states on varied project styles based on clients lifestyle, architecture, and the surrounding environment.
Each project is consistent in its development. Initially, the scope of work and needs of the client are identified. Resources and specialty trades are gathered to implement the designs and offer full service project management. We are passionate about creating spaces that are reflective of our clients and the lives they lead.
Over the years JP Interiors has formed enduring working relationships with some of the best craftspeople and vendors in the area. Services include custom wood millwork and cabinetry, unique painted finishes, and upholsterers who can build new or give new life to existing antiques.
In 2017, Haley joined the team to support large projects and take on projects of her own. In a few years, she’s completed multiple full renovations, new construction, and worked with many clients to design their dream homes.
