“Your life is our mission” – JPS is a Jordanian non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 2012 by a group of social and medical professionals who recognized Jordan’s potential for innovative local solutions to the emergencies it faced. One of our missions as a local NGO is to provide support and aid to the community by the provision of various essential health care services through the establishment of partnerships with well know International NGO`S as well as governmental organizations. JPS showed success in bridging humanitarian agencies and the health system as JPS began receiving funding (UNOCHA) and the (UNHCR) to facilitate refugees’ access to secondary and tertiary health services. JPS also aims for the international standardization of emergency practice in Jordan by providing a valid and efficient plan to assess and retain the required knowledge and skills required for competent practice by EMS professionals.
By 2014, JPS had established a training center that offered courses in emergency medicine and disaster management. Moreover, our training canter also provides high quality, internationally and nationally certified training courses for community members and health professionals.
