JR Ceramics was founded by John Rose, an NYC native now living in Astoria, Queens. He sparked his interest in the ceramic arts when he took pottery classes in high school. It wasn't until years later in 2020 that he decided to test his skills with clay again. After a few classes, he got hooked and turned it into a business.
