Jeevan Rekha Parishad (JRP), also known as Lifeline Council, is an independent, secular, non-governmental, grass-root organization established in 1993. Based in the state of Odisha, India, JRP is dedicated to promoting peace, solidarity, human rights, good governance, and sustainable livelihoods. Its work primarily focuses on marginalized communities, including dalits (SCs & STs), disadvantaged women, underprivileged children, unemployed youths, and adolescents. JRP engages in various fields such as health, education, human and child rights, sustainable livelihoods, good governance, climate action, environment protection, biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, vocational skill development and income generation, and action research. Operating in some of India's most backward and impoverished districts – Khurda, Puri, Bhadrakh, Nayagarh, and Cuttack, JRP also serves as the focal point for the National Human Rights Foundation (NHRF), leading Human Rights Networking and Advocacy across the state. Additionally, JRP acts as the India Coordinating Agency for international organizations like MasterPeace Global (Netherlands), Earth Guardians (USA), and CESIE (Italy).
