My method of capturing weddings breaks from standard wedding photography (which tends to be formulaic in nature), by providing an “Intuitive” and “Personality Driven” style of photojournalistic photography to tell my clients’ individual story. My philosophy is that each wedding has an exclusive rhythm; a pattern of energy that is defined by the personalities present.
I look to capture timeless images: the look of complete satisfaction and love on your mother's face when you are about to say "I do"; the look your fiance gives you just when you are about to place the ring on his finger; and the look of adoration on the faces of your guests as you enter the reception for the first time; to name a few. The emotional interactions between you and your closest family and friends are the heart of the wedding day. My game plan is to document those interactions as they naturally occur; unobtrusively and without manipulation; to capture my subjects in their most candid state.
