The mission of the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine (JSRM) is to advance research, clinical development, and regulatory frameworks to fully realize the transformative potential of regenerative medicine for human health and happiness. We foster innovation in stem cell technologies, cell and gene therapies, and tissue engineering, promoting their ethical and safe translation into society. Collaborating closely with academia, industry, government, and patient groups, we develop skilled professionals, share transparent information, and encourage public engagement to build trust in regenerative medicine. JSRM is one of the world’s largest professional societies dedicated to advancing the science, clinical translation, and societal integration of regenerative medicine. With over 6,000 members—including basic and clinical researchers, engineers, regulatory professionals, ethicists, and legal experts—JSRM serves as an open innovation platform that bridges academia, industry, government, and patient communities.
