JTEKT Bearings Czech republic is a part of Japanese multinational company JTEKT Corporation and belongs to the group of companies partially owned by Toyota. The plant located in Olomouc was built in 2001 as a green field site. Since its foundation company invested more than one billion Czech crowns. It is a modern facility specialized on production of high precision Needle Roller Bearings, Cylindrical Roller Bearings and Valve Tappets. With approximately 400 employees, the company is considered to be an important employer in the region. Culture of our plant is based on open and sincere communication, respect to one another and fair behavior. Since 2000, we have been honored as a Best employer of the year, Employer of the region, Best HR project or Family friendly company. We invest tens millions crowns in education of our employees, in cooperation with schools in the region and charity projects. Export represents 98 % of our production. Major automotive customers are Audi, Volkswagen, Kia, PSA Group, Jaguar, Land Rover, Renault, Scania, Nissan, Volvo, Ford, Ferrari, Porsche, Bentley etc. Minority part of our production goes to industrial customers like John Deere, Bosch, Liebherr, Claas, Linde, Agco, Mondial etc. Annual turnover of JTEKT Bearings Czech republic is approaching one billion Czech crowns. We are growing strongly due to newest machinery, manufacturing robotics and optimizing of our processes based on TPS (Toyota Production System).
