JumpStart Greece

Welcome to JumpStart Greece, a crowdfunding platform built exclusively to support creative and innovative people living in Greece. The long economic crisis in Greece and the lack of much needed liquidity in the market, has acted as a barrier, excluding many creative and innovative people, communities, companies and Non Profit Organizations (NPO’s) from access to capital. This riff has been the primary cause for unemployment to shot up to 26% of the workforce (50% among young people) and has led during the last eight years, to a mass exodus of talented and highly skilled people from Greece (Brain Drain). JumpStart Greece was created in order to serve as a tool that will connect people, communities, companies and Non Profit Organizations operating in Greece who have a creative and/or an innovative idea, with people around the world that would like to assist them in bringing their ideas to life. Through this process we aim to spark creativity and innovation in Greece, create opportunities and, above all, help fund 3.000 projects and create 10.000 new jobs in the Greek economy by the end of 2019, thus contributing to the reversal of the Greek “Brain Drain”.
