The FERC-licensed project, EIS approved, fish-friendly hydropower project located in the Tongass National Forest. The hydropower storage project has a nameplate capacity of 19.8 MW and will annually generate 116,000 MWh upon construction and operations. The Sweetheart Lake Hydroelectric Project will provide new hydropower capacity and sustain energy security for Juneau, Alaska while displacing diesel-fired electrical generation diesel home heating while reducing local emissions.
