Junt’amor is a Portuguese NGO working in Santo Antão, Cabo Verde, through community-based projects focused on education, healthcare, and social inclusion.
We believe change begins with access to knowledge, care, and active community participation. We train educators, support over 30 kindergartens, distribute school kits to thousands of children, and establish community libraries in remote island areas.
In the area of health, we promote health literacy through screenings, awareness sessions, and basic care delivered to schools, care centers, and communities with limited access to medical services. We also encourage healthy lifestyle practices among older adults, contributing to longevity and improved quality of life.
We work with at-risk youth through sports and personal development, organize solidarity and cultural fairs, and lead social, environmental, and digital citizenship initiatives.
All of our projects are developed with and for the Cape Verdean community. We believe that we can build a fairer, healthier, and more opportunity-filled future for all with empathy and collaboration.
