The SolidCitric products enable a completely new method for acid cleaning subsea assets. It comprises use of citric acid in solid form, which dissolves subsea (pat. pending). Acid cleaning of typical wellheads, hubs, mounting bases, MQC plates and valve receptacles are from time to time required in order to remove scale build-up. Traditionally this has been time consuming, occupying the vessel or rig for hours. SolidCitric is a field proven technology, which improves the efficiency for the marine operation when performing maintenance, repair or intervention activities.
