Jussara Lee

Jussara Lee was founded in 1991 by the designer. It has since grown into a successful enterprise in which luxury fashion and sustainable practices are compatible. Since moving to New York City in 1987 to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Lee has designed collections under her signature label which was embraced by prominent retailers such as Barneys and Bergdorf Goodman, and evolved to a focus on hand-tailored, custom-made clothes. This shift in business practices to a more environmentally conscious operation corresponded to the design and implementation of techniques and systems to produce clothes with low impact to our planet.
