Just Air provides biological approach to solve the Carbon Dioxide problem and based on field-proven aerospace design.
The project is focused on the creation of a highly efficient photobioreactor based on the Chlorella microalgae, which is highly efficient in reproduce oxygen. A feature of the Just Air photobioreactor is the use of light-emitting diodes of certain wavelengths corresponding to the maximum absorption of light energy by chlorophyll a and b in algal chloroplasts. This and other improvements increases the efficiency of the photobioreactor in consuming CO2 and producing O2.
The main goal of the project is to create a compact installation for use in space, as well as launch a series of devices for use in other areas of human activity on Earth.
