In the past year, the number of young girls aged 11-13 considering suicide has risen by a shocking 58%. Our children are silently suffering, the signs are often invisible; hiding behind smiling faces, and it's time to take action! I am Lesley Nicole, founder of Just One Can Org and creator of the New Era Children Program. They call me Mama Bear because I believe in nurturing deep connections with our children. As an adopted child, I asked myself, "What is wrong with me?" It inspired me to create a different upbringing for my own children, filled with love, trust, and compassion. At Just One Can, our mission is to reduce youth suicide. We help parents and adults who guide children build deeper connections through effective communication and conflict resolution skills. By creating safe spaces, we ensure kids can turn to supportive adults when they struggle with their mental well-being. Our 12-week training course provides invaluable tools and support. We aim to create multiple safe spaces, free from guilt and judgment, where children can confide in adults who will be there for them.
