About Justice Data and Design Lab

At the JDD Lab, graduate students from Law and Data Science (and other faculties in the future) collaborate to collect new data and process information using the latest analytics. Our goal is to show other Access to Justice Champions, where to focus their work to help the most people. We designed and built a Research Engine that uses unsupervised machine learning to identify legal needs. We experiment with ChatGPT, testing how it can help people with their legal needs.
