Justice Action Network

Justice Action Network (JAN) is a national bipartisan 501(c)(4) national, bipartisan organization dedicated to advancing smarter justice policies that improve public safety outcomes and create stronger communities nationwide. JAN works closely with the Justice Action Network Foundation, an independent but aligned 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. At JAN, we harness the power of advocacy, political strategy, and lobbying to advance smart justice reform legislation that is practical, buildable, impactful, and supported by lawmakers on both sides of the aisle. Since our founding in 2015, JAN has successfully lobbied for the passage of more than 240 bills that were signed into law in 24 states across the country, as well as several landmark reforms at the federal level.
