Jubail Water and Power Company is the World's largest IWPP. the plant provides 2,743.8 Megawatts of power to the Saudi Grid and 800,000 cubic meters per day of desalinated water to the Saudi water infrastructure. The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor was a consortium of three companies led by General Electric International Inc. (GE) consortium includes Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) and Societe Internationale de Dessalement (SIDEM) JWAP also employed Tractebel Engineering as the Owner's Engineer (OE). The Operations & Maintenance Contractor, JOML is a venture of GDF Suez and Nomac (Sogex & ACWA Power).
