K2 Construction Team: Jim Cornwell: A graduate of Hofstra University with 30 years of insurance industry experience. He started in claims management at Fireman’s Fund helping establish his expertise in General liability exposure and hazard analysis. He was with Ace/Westchester for 8 years, managing a large book of NY construction, building his construction focus. Jim utilized his claims and underwriting experience to eventually manage a $350m nationwide construction book at Argo Group where he tenured for 11 years. Jordan Marks: A graduate of the University of Michigan with over 10 years of industry experience. He started in claims at Argo building his knowledge of risk transfer, litigation, and claims management. Jordan transitioned into Underwriting, where he developed strong broker relationships, and built an impressive $120M NY construction book. His focus on risk selection is vital to strategy execution and his past involvement with claims has been instrumental in maintaining the successful performance of the book. Jessica Tanner: Studied Business Management at Bloomsburg University and has 15 years of insurance experience. Over the past 7 years, she held various leadership roles at Argo Group and was instrumental in the success of the Owner’s Only Team which went from a ‘spin-off’ of the NY Construction business to a book of over $40M in premium. Prior, Jessica started at The Hartford as a Personal Lines Insurance Consultant before working at Traveler’s as a Sales Executive responsible for retail partner relationships, production, distribution, and retention of a $30M book throughout the NYC region.
