K9 Heroes seek responsible conservation and protection of South Africa's Wildlife and Endangered Species through innovative training, strategic planning and initiatives that incorporate well trained dedicated dogs and handlers to achieve the envisioned conservation goals and so ensuring future sustainablility and growth. K9 Heroes' mission is to create sound and long-lasting opportunities for dedicated individuals from all communities to be become well trained, certified, K9 anti-poaching rangers and handlers and so ensure environmental sustainability, social and economic advancement, strengthened capacity and responsible conservation by reversing the impact of poaching and illegal wildlife trade. Our primary focus is the safeguarding of wildlife and endangered species in South Africa. We are committed to providing highly skilled, trained dogs and handlers and everything they may require in assisting them in combating the scourge of poaching and illegal wildlife trade. Our Goals: 1. Protection of Endangered Animals & Wildlife 2. Reverse the effects of poaching and illiegal wildlife trade 3. Rocognised Quality training of individuals and dogs through intensive, well reseached, comprehensive training programmes 4. Exploration of new programmes and technological advances in Wildlife conservation incorporating the use of working dogs. 5. Funraising efforts to support and expand our programmes and inititaives to ensure progress and sustainability of K9 Anti-poaching units. 5.
