Canada's only supplier specializing in KELP products for Dogs! 100% BC Harvested ~ Simple*Natural*Proven We only use Kelp from the pristine ocean waters of Northern BC. The kelp collection is done in small batches by hand and the fronds are properly cut to ensure regrowth. The kelp is then slowly sun-dried to preserve it’s vitamins, minerals, and rich green color. The drying and processing of our Kelp is all done within a government licensed marine processing plant. Harvesting is done in a manner that respects the sensitive and complex nature of the Kelp beds. Only a small percentage (less than 10%) is harvested throughout the annual harvesting season. With this limited supply of high quality kelp it sometimes causes large product demand, but we feel that the sustainability and preservation of the kelp beds is much more important. K9 Kelp focuses on using two major seaweeds, Bullwhip kelp (Nereocystis luetkeana) and Bladderwrack (Fucus gardneri). Both are well recognized for their loaded nutritional and medicinal properties for dogs and humans alike!
