At KaaBricks, we are revolutionizing the construction industry by transforming mining waste, textile waste, and other industrial by-products into innovative, eco-friendly building materials. Our mission is to address the challenges of waste management from mining and fast fashion industries while providing a more sustainable alternative to the traditionally polluting construction sector—offering high-performance bricks, tiles, and panels that are affordable, durable, and entirely waste-based.
Through our upcycling process, we turn materials that would otherwise end up in landfills into cutting-edge construction solutions. This approach not only reduces carbon emissions and conserves natural resources but also advances the principles of a circular economy.
KaaBricks was born out of the Nova FCT (University in Caparica, Lisbon) Entrepreneurship Program 2025, where we received two prestigious awards: the Sustainable Construction Prize by Mext (Mota Engil Next) and the Impact Prize. We are now excited to further develop our vision, participating in the Madan Parque Bootcamp to scale our impact.
