The Department of Computer Engineering and Programming (CEP) trains specialists in the 12th branch of knowledge "Information Technologies" and is the basic department at NTU "KhPI" in the specialty 123 "Computer Engineering". The KIP department has a 60-year history and is one of the first departments in Ukraine that trains specialists in computing and programming. 12 doctors and 23 candidates of technical sciences work at the department. As part of training at the Department of Computer Science, it is envisaged to involve experts from well-known IT companies in teaching, to hold classes at the department's modern laboratory facility, which was created jointly with the IT companies EPAM, NIX Solutions and GLOBALLOGIC Ukraine, which is equipped with modern technical and software tools
