Founded in 1944, the Kenya Association of Hotelkeepers & Caterers (KAHC) is the principal umbrella organization representing hotels, lodges, camps, restaurants, membership clubs, and airline caterers in Kenya’s hospitality industry. KAHC’s vision is to make Kenyan hospitality globally competitive and viable for all stakeholders, including guests, shareholders, employees, local communities, suppliers, and government.
KAHC boasts a diverse membership of star-rated hotels, restaurants, caterers, lodges, tented camps, and residential cottages. The association’s core services include advocacy for a conducive business environment, promoting harmonious industrial relations through collective bargaining, and serving as the main voice for the industry on regulatory and policy matters.
