Kaizen is a Japanese word that means 'continuous renovation'. It is a student activity founded on 22/8/2016 in the extended modular program of medical school of Ain Shams University and was first registered as an official student activity in Medical school of Ain Shams University ( Mainstream ) under the name of
" إزدهار " on 22/10/2017.

Mission: to renovate the Demardash hospital by supplying the needed medical devices through student activities and charity work.
Vision: Kaizen aims to become a non-profit , non-governmental organization that renovates the technological capability of the Demardash's hospital . In addition , to unite all medical students to that sole goal . Moreover , to develop their managing and leadership skills so they can be responsible leaders who are attached to the hospital and keen to continue its development.
What will we do ?
- Fundraise by events , sponsors and collecting donations
- Give courses for leadership and hospital management
What did we do so far ?
-We bought 5 wheel chairs ( 7,250 L.E )for the Demardash hospital on 4-2-2017
-We bought a portable monitor , for the resuscitation room in the surgery reception in the Emergency hospital of Demardash, 2 silicon ambobags for the medicine reception in the Emergency hospital of Demardash,1 neubilizer ultrasonic for a child who suffered from an inhalation injury ( All for 31,500 L.E ) on 4-2-2018
-We bought a DC shock defibrillator “ Philips “ ( 109,000 L.E ) for the resuscitation room in the surgery reception in the emergency hospital of Demardash on 12-9-2018
