At Kal’s Kitchen, everything we do, we do for the love of plants, people and the planet. We create delicious plant-based gourmet fusion food for people who are keen to eat more plants and less, or no, meat and dairy. Whether you’re a flexitarian, vegetarian or committed vegan, we are passionate about creating the best vegan food you’ve ever tasted. Kal’s Kitchen is the inspiration of founder and genius chef, Kalvinder Chaggar. Kal is a huge advocate for plant-based eating as she recognises, through her own personal experience, the benefits it has on physical and mental well-being. Taking inspiration from the scents and spices of her ancestral homeland of Northern India, as well as the many cultures and cuisines she has encountered on her extensive travels, Kal has curated an impressive repertoire of plant-based fusion dishes. And her commitment to bold and unique flavours is apparent with every mouthful, with some of her recipes taking over 70 trials to get the spice combination just right! At Kal’s Kitchen, we make sure that our business is ethically conscious at every step. We believe in reducing the impact we have on our planet and making positive vibrations within our local community. We do this through hiring disadvantaged women, giving them work opportunities and skills training, as well as supplying free meals to the elderly and key workers.
