Kalakar was created to fill a massive gap for South Asian creators. While others focused on western markets and their needs, we saw how editors and creators in our region struggled with tools that didn’t understand our languages, workflows, or challenges. So we decided to build something of our own. Kalakar is intuitive, culturally aware, and made by creators, for creators. We’re community-driven, constantly evolving, and dedicated to empowering South Asian storytellers with technology designed specifically for them.
