The Kali Honey Project’s objective is to kick-start a stingless bee honey cooperative locally owned by village women.
Our longer-term goal is growing the number of stingless bee honey farming cooperatives across villages in Eastern Africa. This will create a sense of ownership for local villagers, provides recurring income so that village women can increase their families’ standards of living, and brings a great product to an untapped market.
