KALI TUNA d.o.o. was established in 1996 in Kali, Ugljan island, by two Croatian descendants from Australia, and is considered a pioneer of farmed Atlantic bluefin tuna business in the Mediterranean. Since 2015 the company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese company J-Trading Inc.
