Kalinga Ventures

Founded in 2009 by entrepreneurs and business leaders from the Odia community (people from the state of Odisha, India) across the U.S. and Canada, Kalinga Ventures is a virtual community organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship among individuals of Odia origin. While Odias have made significant contributions in fields such as art, literature, science, and technology, they are not traditionally associated with entrepreneurship. Kalinga Ventures seeks to change that narrative by providing a platform where aspiring entrepreneurs—especially youth—can engage with and experience entrepreneurship from an early age. Our approach is rooted in education and awareness. By equipping the next generation with tools, mentorship, and exposure, we aim to nurture a thriving entrepreneurial mindset within the global Odia community.
