Our journey began in 1972 with few local brands. However, 1987 was the year that marked the beginning of our success. We became the licensee of Fay International Ltd. UK, producing wide variety of tissue products in Bangladesh. In 1993, Kallol became the distributor of internationally renowned and reputed FMCG and durable consumer goods nationwide. In 2006, Kallol acquired Jet, a renowned leading and one of the first mover brands in the powder detergent category. The next milestone was the year 2010 when two Joint Venture agreements were signed, one with the Jyothy Laboratories Ltd., India and another with the Thai President Food Plc, Thailand. Besides manufacturing, Kallol imports and distributes healthy and refreshing instant drink powder Nutri-C. As for durable consumer goods, Kallol imports 29 international watch & writing instrument brands and retails through 63 retail chain outlets 'TIMEZONE '. 'TIMEZONE’ are located in the key shopping mall and international hotels all over the country. Kallol has nationwide distribution channels in all 64 districts in Bangladesh.
