Kalmar Construction Ltd. was incorporated in Oct. 1987; we are a Commercial, Industrial, and Oilfield General Construction Company, specializing in concrete, serving North Eastern BC and North Western AB. Kalmar is a well-established company, with a strong client base as a result of our quality of work, dedicated employees and high safety standards. At Kalmar Construction Ltd., we believe an effective safety and loss prevention program is the cornerstone of good operating practice. It is our policy to: a) Provide training as required b) Conduct hazard assessments c) Use CSA-approved PPE d) Properly maintain tools and equipment e) Conduct informal and formal inspections to identify and correct any unsafe acts or conditions. f) Investigate all incidents and accidents with the objective of preventing recurrence.
