We are a design firm that addresses the complexities of taking advanced technologies from research institutes to market by engaging in cross-disciplinary integration at every stage of product development Traditionally, a research institute does not foster design for the end user as part of their core competency. As a result, many new products and technologies are left in a raw and unrefined state and do not see their full potential as marketable products. KAMIA Design Lab increases the utility, feasibility, and appeal of research-born technology through embodiment as a product.
