Kamp C is the organisation for Sustainable and Innovative Construction. As an autonomous province company of the Province of Antwerp, Kamp C is unique in Europe, both as an organisation and a location.
The construction industry faces a huge challenge. By 2030, it must halve its CO2 emissions. By 2050 we’re talking about a 90% reduction. We need to look for solutions. Kamp C contributes to this cause and wants to accelerate the transition to a sustainable society.
We want to make the construction industry healthier step by step by acting as a facilitator for education and inspiration involving sustainable construction, by gaining knowledge in innovative themes and by being the central point of contact when it comes to construction. We think along with authorities, knowledge institutions, construction professionals and potential builders about solutions for their construction and renovation projects.
How do we manage to do that? We organise tours, demonstrations and events where everyone can come and take a look. After all, the entire site exudes innovation, with the first fully circular office building in the Benelux (’t Centrum), a vertical solar panel wall and a 3D-printer. We will keep innovating ourselves. In addition, you can visit Kamp C for free sustainable building advice or visit www.duurzaamwonen.be for answers to all your questions. We put our weight behind many pioneering projects, such as a new participative, social and circular library in the municipality of Zoersel, chain development around bio-based materials and the development and support of energy communities.
As a start-up, scale-up or build-related company you can even rent an office at Kamp C. Two office buildings are available for this purpose: De Basis and ’t Centrum. This way, you can work in a green environment full of life.
