KAN is a network of organisations that aims to unite forces in bringing sustainable solutions within Maastricht University and the Maastricht community. KAN was established in March 2019 with the goal of bringing organisations together to grow, collaborate and cooperate on implementing progressive change.
KAN has two pillars:
1. As a student politics party, KAN fights for intersectional climate justice and institutional transformation at Maastricht University and is currently represented in three faculty councils and the university council.
2. As an activism network, KAN organizes protests, workshops, debates, movie screenings, pub quizzes and other events to raise awareness abuot the climate catastrophe and foster behavioral change
