The KansasDPA Program offers a 30-year fixed mortgage, with assistance up to a percentage, that can be applied to down payment or closing costs. The assistance is in the form of a grant. The general qualifying factors: - credit score above 640 - income limits (varies by county) - property located within an approved jurisdiction **Borrowers must use a participating lender in the program, and an individual loan officer who has been trained in the program and can lock loans in the system.
