The 250 private acres of Karamoor Estate have been involved in farming in some fashion since the days of William Penn. Owners Nick & Athena Karabots decided in keeping with the traditions of the land and with their joy and passion of wine, to transform their land into beautiful vineyards. Their intention to produce quality and elegant Bordeaux-style wines in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Karamoor Estate’s vineyard is 27 acres of densely planted, immaculately maintained vinifera vines. The vineyards include nine grape varieties: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Every bottle of Karamoor Estate's award winning wines are made solely with the fruit harvested from their vineyard. At Karamoor Estate, we make our wines with Food and Beverage professionals in mind.
