The Parent company started its operation in Shinyanga, in the name of M/S M. B. Kara Limited, established over 45 years ago. After the economic liberalization of the 90's and with experience serving various mines across the country, the directors decided to float a new company, M/S Kara Traders Limited to facilitate national and international business expansion and coverage.
Due to the expertise, experience, and vision of our Directors, Hitachi Power Tools selected us as the sole representative for their brand in Tanzania; and in the year 2007 another company was floated M/S Kara Power Tools Limited, dedicated to Hitachi Power Tools.
Kara Traders and Kara Power Tools are both family-owned and managed Limited companies.
