Karin Organization

Karin Organization is a non-governmental youth-to-youth grassroots organization committed to youth and female leadership empowerment in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Founded in 2013 and officially licensed and registered in the KRG- Non-governmental organizations department as Karin Organization for Developing Youth Abilities (KODYA). Main work areas are youth leadership, education, and climate action. We work on bringing together young leaders who care about what is happening in the world and feel inspired to make a positive contribution to their community. Karin enjoys a vast network of young peers in Kurdistan, Iraq, and globally, while also played crucial role in supporting Kurdistan Government through collaborations with Ministries of Youth and Culture, and higher Education, and internationally with the International Youth Federation. Up to 2020 approx. of 2,600 people have been direct beneficiaries of the projects and activities of the organization.
