I started making Karinto Krisps for sale October 2011 with my daughter Michaela and Ryan (our food technologist and family friend). These sweet and nutty snacks are handcrafted, black sesame krisps coated in caramel and touched with a hint of soy sauce. Each caramel coated krisp is slowly baked to create a toffee-like coating. I know you will agree the slow process is worth it once you taste the Sesamazingly delicious outcome.
I have been making these snacks on the side for the past three decades, sharing them with friends, family, clients, and industry friends. I brought a little touch of homemade goodness wherever my business travels took me. The words "amazing" and "addicting" were used often. After being chased down convention hallways and flooded with emails and calls, the enthusiasm and requests encouraged me to take the leap and finally make my snacks available to everyone.
The label gives a caution that "serious addiction may occur" and to "please consume responsibly". Our response is always, "We're here to be your yummy snack supplier."
