From the tropics to your heart... Karü Chocolates is a single-origin craft chocolate company owned by a Colombian woman. We began this journey almost three years ago when we decided to grow cacao and planted almost 50,000 trees, but it wasn't enough our love for good chocolate went beyond so we started buying cacao from small farmers and began our chocolate adventure. Karü comes from the land of magic, where everything is possible: exotic fruits, amazing coffee, delicious and unique cacao from the most beautiful and remote places. As Colombians, we are proud of our gastronomical roots, this is why we only use quality local ingredients in our chocolates. Our cacao plantations are located on the Eastern Colombian plains, where our area of influence extends over 20,000 hectares of protected forestall reserves which include forests, moriche swamps, lagoons, rivers, and savannah.
