Kathira Academy

Kathira Academy is more than just a learning space—it’s my way of giving back to the village that raised me. I grew up in Kathiraveli, where many children drop out of school, where girls like me are told not to dream too big, and where farming families work so hard but still live with so little. I know the pain of missed opportunities—and the power of second chances. That’s why I started Kathira Academy. We teach English, digital skills, and entrepreneurship—not in a classroom where students feel small, but in a space where they feel seen, heard, and believed in. It’s a place where children learn to speak with confidence, where farmers begin to explore new ways of selling, and where young people slowly start to believe that they, too, can be leaders. This academy is built with love, hope, and the belief that change starts at home. One child, one dream, one step at a time.
