Katie Kismet was born the minute Katie emerged from a one-off "Introduction to Fused Glass" workshop she took on a lark while traveling. Having fallen in love with the medium of glass, she didn't see in the marketplace what she wanted to wear, so she set out to create it. Whether handcrafting jewelry, designing graphics for clients, or styling her home, Katie's work has a visual through-line driven by a love for modern art and architecture, play with color, and Scandinavian-style minimalism. It's Katie's goal to develop unique, quality jewelry and accessories that transcend trends and make you smile for years to come. Katie Kismet pieces are created for the individual who values self-expression through original style, loves to work a pop of color, and delights in the unexpected. "Kismet" means destiny and is the name of the street Katie grew up on.
