Studio katipeifer was founded by the German designer and illustrator Kati Peifer.
The label offers illustrated and handmade goods from ceramics and paper. The work is inspired by her travels around the globe, everyday life and nature. Each product shows the beauty of the little things in form of a cup, a postcard or an arrangement of pressed flowers.
Kati tries to tell a story with every product that she creates, so that they become something more than simply a product. The goal is to make products that last, products with personality and depth, products that people can relate to. Hopefully her work sparks your hunger for adventures, may they be near or far, and inspires you to explore on your own and look at the world in a different way.
As a creator it is also important to her to work environmentally friendly and to use sustainable materials as much as possible. For example the postcards are printed on 100% recycled paper and are produced locally. Packages, boxes and bubble foil are reused for sending orders and she is investing in green packaging materials if bought new.
