Kati roll wala was founded and created shortly after Covid 19 began by Praveena Kumar. With children learning remotely and parents working from home, eating unhealthy food became a norm in our household. That’s when the idea of creating a quick and healthy option came into reality.
Kati Rolls are a healthy and quick meal, wrapped in flavorful Indian Flatbread, and Wala Bowls are full of veggies and protein on a bed of basmati rice or salad. We enjoyed making it and the kids loved having them. We merged the Kati Roll and Wala Bowls and created the Kati Roll Wala.
We were looking to get some feedback from the public so we opened our first experimental cloud kitchen, delivery and pickup location. We were shocked and excited to see the positive feedback. With the high requests and large customer satisfaction, we decided to open a full-service restaurant.
We opened a location in a food hall to showcase the products and get direct feedback. The food hall was a great way to reach our clientele after COVID-19, with a well-designed, clean, and open kitchen concept.
